SBI3013

SBI3013, course code for Information and Communication Technology in Biology is a major subject that must be taken for education students majoring in Biology to complete their bachelor's degree in education in Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). The course outline requires us to develop our skills in using technology that has been implemented in our education system. This course teaches us about how we can use ICT efficiently in our daily lives and also for education. It plays an important role to outline for us the advantage of ICT and the waste that was going to happen if we do not include ICT in our education system. We live in a world that exposure to technology is a very much important subject for us. 

Video Editing

I have a youtube channel where I play games and record and finally edit the video.

Here are one example where I play a character named Chou.

I'm using Filmora X 100% in this video. Concurrently I am training to edit as fast on Adobe Premier Pro but as I have uploaded most of my project on Filmora X, I continued to edit in it. 

I have average experienced in Premiere during my study on Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris where I mainly edit montage for events and fieldwork.

Pakpiohmung

The names Pakpiohmung is an alias I used in the internet to interact anonymously on world wide web.

All small image on the video were edited by me using Adobe Photoshop.

Graphic Design

For this assignment, we have to use adobe photoshop to create and design our own header for this blog. Pictures edited was our own photos. 

Here is the outline of my progress towards designing the header image. 

 First, a wide-angle picture was taken to be the main component of the header. The picture was then cropped to match the header dimension.

Data Logger

The data logger assignment is the most exciting assignment that we have done. Aside from the event of COVID - 19, we have to communicate between our group online to finish this assignment. This assignment required us to find what is data logging in terms of experimentation in science subjects and try to find a suitable data logger for our experiment. 

Here is the slide presentation on what is a data logger all about and below it is the report of the data logging that we had done throughout this assignment.

Modeling and Simulations

Modeling and simulations assignment is one of the interesting assignments that we have had over the course of SBI3013. It requires us to browse hundreds of thousands of simulations that had been done by past researchers. The website used for this assignment is iseesystem which comprises of many simulations available online. 

The simulation was then used by us to manipulate its data and tries to get a variety of data that can be used as references for future studies.

Smart Schools

The smart school's assignment required us to find the challenges in using ICT for education in Malaysia, the slides presented here is the slide used when we are presenting orally what are the challenges government and other involved parties had to overcome in order to implement technology in schools in Malaysia.
